I am passionate about the discovery, design, and launch of innovative new products, services, and experiences that intersect the digital and physical worlds.

Over the past decade I have helped to transform the digital guest services landscape across the travel industry – with the introduction and global launch of products such as Mobile Check-in, Mobile Key, In-App Service Request & Chat, and Airport Shuttle tracking. Through my participation and leadership of high performance teams, millions of customers around the world have experienced products I have brought to market, creating new habits, reducing friction points in their journey, and enhancing their travel experience.

I founded Marriott Hotel Labs – a design-thinking influenced framework for co-creation, rapid prototyping and market testing of new products and concepts. This platform provides real-world operational and customer insights, point of views, and feasibility assessments. Through experience, I have realized that by immersing high-performing teams into the physical environment where a product will be used, co-locating with the customers and the associates that will interact with the product, magic happens! I like to consider this a product managers evolution of the Six Sigma Gemba walk.

I am a strategic thinker, yet highly skilled and hands-on operator, and experienced agile program and technology director. I began my career as a full stack developer, through my career I have been disciplined by the science of project management, educated by the teams I have managed, grounded via the art of Enterprise Architecture, enlightened by Design Thinking, and driven as a Product Manager with a passion for customer service and world-class user experiences.

Outside of the office, I enjoy skiing and managing my curated collection of vacation rental experiences in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I also enjoy mentoring entrepreneurs and advising on hospitality technology.
